Short Film: Kozlov

This film holds a special place in my heart, as it was one of three Graduation Films funded by Central Film School, London U.K. As the film’s cinematographer, I saw this as my opportunity to go big or go broke. Through an incredible stroke of luck, I managed to acquire the legendary Gaffer Brian Beaumont (Hunger 2008 and Elizabeth: The Golden Age 2007) as part of my lighting team. What was even more unbelievable was that our producer at the time, a one Yuri Nunes, through feats of otherworldly practice, managed to procure a location that coincidentally Brian had himself worked on when filming the TV movie ‘The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby’ (2001).
